Lucas Parker from Stockport harriers is the winner of the Dovedale Dash 2022 in a time of 28 mins and 7 secs.
Lucas wins the Izaak Walton Shield. Second is David Narborough from Mickleover Running club, winning the Dog and
Partridge Tankard) (28:53).
First Lady home is Bethan Everson from Ely runners in a time of 34 mins and
and 50 seconds winning the Peveril of the Peak cup. Lucy Bednall from
Buxton AC was second lady in 36:23 mins winning the Cyril Challinor Shield.
​First Under 18 boy and fourth overall is Ewan Busfield from Derby AC in a
time of 29 mins and 21 secs. Ewan wins the Ian Hall Cup. Second is
Patrick Welsh from Derby AC (32:27). First Under 18 girl is Matilda Catan
in 44 mins and 34 secs. She wins the Avanti Jewellers cup. Second Under 18
girl is Molly Busfield (45:07).
First Under 14 boy is Oscar Catan in a a time of 39 mins and 44 secs. Oscar wins the Mart Cup. Second is Harry Gret (46:47). Isabella Margiotta from QEGS was the first under 14 girl in a time of 38 mins. She was 78th overall and wins the Hillcrest cup. Second was Katie Evans from QECS (45:31).
The Under 18s and Under 14s did again really well this year! Well done !
First male over 60 and winner of the Dorris Allen Salver is Des Gibbons from Red hill road runners in a time of 38 mins and 9 secs. First female over 60 is Glennis Richardson from Stockport harriers in 41 mins and 2 secs.
First local Thorpe lady home and winner of the Matthew Parris Cup is Ellie Barber in a time of 46 mins and 31 secs. First Thorpe man home and winner of the Bluebell Cup is Oscar Robinson in a time of 56 mins and 47 seconds. Well done!
In total 532 people finished the Dovedale Dash this year:

The children's race had 38 children. The under 10's children's race winner and winner overall was Isaac Ryder in 10 mins and 32 secs. Evie Bowring was the first Under 10's girl in 16 mins and 2 secs. The Under 12's race was won by Thomas Griffiths in 11 mins and 1 sec. First Under 12 girl was Katie Lasseter in 12 mins and 6 secs.
